What is the Economic Development (ED) Loan Program?

The ED Loan Program is designed to provide funding to local governments and non profit organizations involved with Economic Development. Loan proceeds can be used for construction projects to provide infrastructure to area businesses.

What are the benefits of an ED Loan?

Local Governments can benefit from a low down payment, and low, fixed interest rates.

Who is eligible?

Any local government or non profit within the counties of Anderson, Camp, Cherokee, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Marrion, Panola, Rusk, Rains, Smith, Upshur, Van Zandt, and Wood. Local governments and non profits must show that they will have sufficient income from sales tax revenues or other sources.

How much can an entity borrow?

The ETRDC is limited to a maximum loan amount of $500,000 and a minimum loan amount of $50,000.

How do I apply?

Applying is easy. Simply download the application forms, and return the completed forms along with any attachments to the ETRDC offices.
